OUR MISSION, VISION AND STATEMENT OF FAITH
- MISSION
"For I have come down from
heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. " (John
6:38)
To serve God by serving youth... that they may receive hope through Christ,
Giver of everlasting life.
- VISION
" Where there is no vision, the people perish."
(Proverbs 29:18a)
To discover what God has chosen for our service, in Christ; serving youth, their families and our community through life changing ministries.
- STATEMENT OF FAITH
“All
Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God
may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).
We Believe . . .
· There is one God who is the Creator and Ruler of all creation and has eternally existed in three co-eternal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
· The historic person of Jesus Christ, recorded in the Holy Bible, is the Son of God, the virgin-born Son of Man, equal with His Father. He is the bodily expression of God’s love and the divine and only provision for mankind’s salvation.
· The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make us aware of our need for salvation, to immediately live within those who have received Christ Jesus by placing their trust in Him and to instantaneously and forever seal their eternal destiny.
· The Holy Bible is God’s Word. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit and is, thereby, inspired (God-breathed). It is without error in all that it teaches. It is the supreme source of truth for what we believe and how we live.
· All people have sinned, disregarded God and justly deserve divine judgment (Romans 3:23). In God’s love, Jesus Christ came to die on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sins (John 3:16, 17). God saves unto eternal life those He chooses (Romans 8). Forgiveness of sins is received as we repent, receive Christ and by the gift of faith put our trust in Him (Ephesians 2:8).
· Christ Jesus will someday return to earth bodily, personally, and visibly in order to establish His rule and reign.
